Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate Noida-Greater Noida’s much-awaited Aqua Line Metro Today

Noida: Today, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will flag off the much-awaited ‘Aqua Line’ of Metro Rail that will connect Noida to Greater Noida. The metro service will be opened for the public on 26th of January to mark the Republic Day, an official said.

The Metro service on the ‘Aqua Line’ will start on January 26 between 10.30 am to 5 pm. And from the next day it will run between 6 am and 10 pm, which will be quite a big relief to commuters in the National Capital Region.

There have been reports that 11 trains will run through 21 stations between Noida Sector 51 and Depot Metro station in the first phase, and Metro trains will run at an interval of 15 minutes. Talking about the fares, the lowest ticket for the Metro services on Aqua Line will be Rs 10 while the highest would be of Rs 50. Sixteen stations will have parking facilities initially, as per reports.

The inauguration of the metro line which is scheduled for Today was initially supposed to be inaugurated on December 25 by Prime Minister Modi and CM Adityanath jointly but has been delayed for a month due to some reasons. The aqua line metro connecting Noida to Greater Noida will have a total of 21 stations and metro trains will run between Sector 71 station in Noida and Depot station in Greater Noida, namely- Sectors 71, 50, 78, 101, 81, Dadri Road, Sectors 83, 137, 142, 143, 144, 145, 146, 147, 148, Knowledge Park II, Pari Chowk, Alpha 1, Delta 1, GNIDA Office, Depot Station.
